During the 2025 soccer season, Jackson — Arapahoe's starting varsity goalkeeper — sent a free kick 75 yards downfield. It found the back of the net. He scored for his own team. The football coaching staff heard about it.

The call came shortly after. Would Jackson consider joining the varsity football team as their kicker?

He said yes. He joined the roster in Week 6. He went 24 for 24 on PAT attempts. He didn't miss once.
